Growing in New Directions

Founded in 1898, Friends University is a comprehensive, independent university in Wichita, Kansas. In recent years, we have developed a unique blend of strong traditional programs with nontraditional undergraduate and graduate programs for adults. At Friends University, you will receive an education that incorporates liberal arts instruction and professional studies within the context of the Christian faith.

Main Campus - Wichita
You will find our beautiful, park-like main campus located in the quiet, well-established residential community of Wichita. The campus features 15 buildings - including the 119-year-old Davis Administration Building, which has been designated a National Historic Landmark. With more than 3,000 students, we are a strong, vital, independent university.

Off-Site Locations - Lenexa and Topeka
In addition to the main campus in Wichita, Friends University also has two permanent off-site locations. Our educational centers offer you the education, expertise and knowledge that employers seek. We also provide the same great benefits as our main campus, including convenient and flexible scheduling, small class sizes, and professional instructors. Our staff and faculty understand the needs of busy, career-focused adults like you.
